Job Title: Business Development Representative (BDR)
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team at our office in King of Prussia, PA. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the BDR will play a critical role in bridging marketing and sales efforts by qualifying leads, generating new opportunities through outreach, and supporting campaigns to drive revenue growth. This is an entry-level role for individuals eager to kickstart a career in sales, marketing, or business development.

We design and manufacture an innovative privacy screen system that replaces hospital privacy curtains, cubicle curtains, and shower curtains, to enhance hygiene, privacy, and efficiency in patient care. The Silentia screen system is modular and configurable to fit virtually any healthcare environment. With more than 4,000 solutions and screens used in more than 50 countries around the world, the system is well-proven to fight against cross-infection in hospital environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Qualification & Nurturing:
- Qualify leads to determine their fit as sales opportunities.
- Nurture leads through follow-ups, providing additional information, and identifying key decision-makers.
Outbound Prospecting:
- Collaborate with the marketing & sales team to develop and execute outbound campaigns, including cold outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn.
- Follow up on leads generated through marketing activities (e.g., webinars, events, content downloads).
- Opportunity to participate in Trade Shows and local Chapter Meetings
Collaboration with Sales & Marketing Teams:
- Work closely with sales to ensure qualified leads are handed off effectively.
- Provide feedback to the marketing & sales team about lead quality, campaign performance, and prospect responses.
- Contribute insights to improve targeting, messaging, and campaign strategies.
Market Research & Insights:
- Research target industries, accounts, and personas to support marketing and sales strategies.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for outreach and campaigns.
Performance Metrics:
- Meet or exceed KPIs related to lead qualification, outreach, and sales-qualified opportunities (SQOs).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions in the CRM.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- 0-2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related field (internship experience may be considered).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and marketing platforms (e.g., Marketo, Pardot) is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
